NIC LUMS Brings Home The Most Innovative University Award

The Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) has won the National Medal of Innovation in the Most Innovative University category at National Innovation Awards for developing an innovative model for University based incubation exemplified by LUMS Center for Entrepreneurship, now called National Incubation Center Lahore (NIC). The announcement was made at Pakistan Innovation Forum’s (PIF) Annual Conference – The Pakistan Innovation Forum 2017 on December 7, 2017 at Marriott, Karachi.

REDC Conducts 'Leadership in Higher Education for Vice Chancellors & Senior Deans'

With participation from the leading universities across Pakistan, the Rausing Executive Development Centre (REDC) conducted the ‘Leadership in Higher Education: A Programme for Vice Chancellors & Senior Deans’ from December 18 - 23, 2017. 

The 6-day transformational programme was specifically designed to explore issues related to university governance and management from the macro and micro perspective. The key emphasis was on the role of universities in the changing world where higher education institutions are the drivers of socio-economic change in the community.
