The Department of Electrical Engineering organized a Robotic Competition as part of the final module of the EE-100 course on December 13, 2018, at the Engineering Workshop Lab at the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE). EE-100 is a core course designed for freshmen engineering and science students to provide them a basic introduction of the various stages involved in the design of an engineering product namely, CAD designing, PCB designing, and fabrication.
Electrical Engineering Faculty and Student Publish in Prestigious International Journal
Saad Zia Sheikh, a PhD student at the Department of Electrical Engineering at Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE) along with his advisor, Dr. Adeel Pasha, Assistant Professor and Director of the Electronics and Embedded Systems Lab (EESL) at SBASSE, published their research article in the prestigious international journal, ACM Transactions on Embedded Computing Systems, which publishes leading work being done around the world related to the analysis, design, behavior, and experience with embedded computing systems.
Electrical Engineering Faculty Presents Research at INFORMS Annual Meeting, USA
Dr. Hassan Jaleel, Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering (EE), Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE), presented his research at INFORMS Annual Meeting, which was held in Phoenix, AZ, USA, 2018. INFORMS Annual Meeting is one of the most prestigious gatherings in the area of Operations Research (OR) bringing together over 5,000 experts in OR domain from academia and industry. In his talk titled, “Path to Stochastic Stability,” Dr. Jaleel presented a novel framework for analysing different stochastic learning dynamics in games.
