SOE hold its 3rd Practicum Showcase Conference
The LUMS Syed Ahsan Ali and Syed Maratib Ali School of Education (SOE) hosted its 3rd Practicum Showcase Conference on 23rd April 2024 to showcase the year-long research-based capstone project of its MPhil students. The conference was attended by more than 500 people including students, alumni, academic professionals, heads of eminent universities, schools, NGOs and education experts. The projects were displayed through exciting gallery walk presentations and engaging panel discussions. Ministry of Professional and Technical Training was established in July 2011 in the wake of 18th Amendment. Some of the Departments / Organizations previously under MOLM and MOE were placed under this Ministry. Supreme Court of Pakistan in its Judgment dated 25th November, 2011 directed that in view of insertion of Article 25-A in the Constitution, the Federal Government cannot absolve itself from the responsibility of providing Education to its citizens.
