MS Physics Graduate Publishes in OPTIK
Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE) MS Physics 2018 graduate, Hassan Ahmad Khan has published his research article titled, ‘Approximate photonic band gaps of dielectric-magnetic one-dimensional photonic crystals’ in a reputed science journal, OPTIK. Dr. Muhammad Faryad, Chair of the Physics department is the co-author of the research.
SBASSE Conducts Workshop on Mechanics for Physics Teachers
Teachers play a very important role in building societies and grooming students to be future leaders. Training of teachers of all subjects and schools to be more active, constructive and efficient is very crucial for the development of a nation. In line with this vision, the Physics Department at the Syed Babar Ali School of Science and Engineering (SBASSE), LUMS organized a day-long research-focused workshop on, 'Selected Topics in Mechanics for Physics Teachers.'
